Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, commonly known as ACT, is an evidence-based approach that helps you develop a healthier relationship with your thoughts and emotions. Learn to manage difficult thoughts and emotions while taking steps towards a life guided by your values.
Build psychological flexibility and move forward with confidence.
A Different Way To Relate To Your Thoughts
Rather than trying to eliminate or control difficult experiences, ACT supports you in learning how to accept them, reduce their impact and focus your energy on what truly matters to you. This approach is particularly helpful for managing anxiety, stress, low mood and life challenges, while building resilience and long-term emotional wellbeing.

Guided by Your Values,
Not Your Struggles
ACT is grounded in extensive psychological research and is widely used to support a range of mental health concerns. It focuses on building psychological flexibility, which is the ability to stay present, adapt to challenges and take action aligned with your personal values.
ACT helps you respond to life’s difficulties in a more balanced and effective way. Our psychologists work collaboratively with you to apply these skills in a way that feels relevant and achievable in your everyday life.
