Common Reasons for Psychometric Assessments
Cognitive assessments investigate a person’s general thinking and reasoning abilities, also known as intellectual functioning or IQ. Cognitive assessments can be helpful in education, employment, or disability settings, and may be recommended for a number of reasons, including:
- Investigating overall IQ, including identifying strengths and weaknesses;
- Determining learning or processing difficulties and helping develop strategies and recommendations; and
- Assessing for the presence of conditions such as intellectual giftedness, specific learning disabilities, intellectual disability, ASD and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
How to Book an Assessment
Simply contact our admin team, who will assist you with your booking and discuss payment options.
You do not need a referral to book an assessment. If you are unsure about the type of assessment you may need, please ask to speak to the assessing psychologist before booking.
All assessments include a comprehensive report.
